About Me

DSC_0115Hi! Welcome, welcome to the– wait, this isn’t the 74th annual Hunger Games…

If you like knitting, crafting (yes, this includes paper folding), or feasting your eyes on stuff, you should stick around.

If you like food, like seeing pictures of food that someone else is going to consume, or like seeing attempts of meals made by someone who can’t really cook, then you don’t have to look further.

If you want a glimpse into the life of a current college student, I hope you’re ready for some late night updates. Just kidding. Maybe.

If you like eighties cheese (songs from the eighties), feel free to make suggestions.

If you know any good movies (e.g. Star Wars, Can’t Buy Me Love, Howl’s Moving Castle, etc.), don’t hesitate to lead a discussion down below.

If you like nice people and random acts of kindness, thank you for being you.

If you like any of these books: The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, or any books by Suzanne Collins, we should talk. If you are a Potterhead, you should talk to my sister. “Weasley is our king!” Our tastes in books, music, and movies overlap greatly. On PygmyPurls, I knit and she sews/knit.

If you enjoy running around thrift stores and Goodwills looking for unique buys, join the club.

If you are a hardcore procrastinator, I can relate.

If you like meeting new people over the internet, then hi! Feel free to leave something about yourself in the comments, after all, you’re already here!
